CS35L63 Overview
The Cirrus Logic CS35L63 is an ultra-compact smart amplifier solution combining a high-performance mono Class D audio amplifier with a 130 MCPS Halo Core™ DSP. With a total footprint below 35 mm², including external BOM components, it enables flexible placement on space-constrained PCBs while minimizing high-power analog switching traces for improved noise performance. The amplifier supports supply voltages up to 15 V and delivers up to 14.8 W into a 4 Ω speaker at 1% THD+N. Compatible with 2S and 3S multicell batteries, the CS35L63 can reduce the need for external DC-DC converters, helping lower BOM cost and system size while improving power efficiency. Integrated DSP supports customizable speaker protection, thermal and excursion management, audio enhancement, and power management, reducing host-processor loading.
SoundWire v1.2.1 with SDCA 1.0 support, plus I²S and I²C interfaces, simplifies integration. Boot-beep, ultrasonic output, and AEC reference-signal aggregation are also included.
The CS35L63 is available in a 24-pin WLCSP package for −40° to +85 °C operation.
