192 kHz D/A Converter with Internal Filter
The WM8740 is a stereo digital/analog converter (DAC) that supports a SPI-compatible serial control interface to support on-chip mute, attenuation and phase reversal, as well as a hardware controllable interface. This device accepts data input from 16 to 24-bits and sampling rates up to 192 kHz. The WM8716 also includes a digitally controllable mute and attenuator function on each channel. An internal digital filter has two selectable roll-off characteristics. A sharp or slow roll-off can be selected dependent on application requirements, or it can be bypassed and an external digital filter used instead.
