has confirmed its support of the recent definitive agreement entered into by Intel Corporation (Nasdaq:INTL) and Ambient Technologies Inc., a privately held firm in which Cirrus Logic holds an minority interest.

Ambient was formed about a year ago when Cirrus Logic entered into an agreement to spinout its PC modem business unit.
