Under terms of the agreement, Cirrus Logic will have access to UMC’s mixed-signal capabilities and precision technologies down to 0.10-micron. Access to these capabilities will accelerate the manufacturing process for some of Cirrus’ most advanced products, thus speeding the company’s ability to bring new technologies to market.
