The VRE410 series of low cost, zener-based precision voltage references provide ultra stable ±10 V output with ±1.6 mV initial accuracy. This improvement in accuracy is made possible by a unique, proprietary multipoint laser compensation technique. Another key feature of this reference is the 0.5 mV tracking error between the positive and negative output voltages over the operating temperature range. This is extremely important in high performance systems for reducing overall system errors.
Temperature coefficients are as low as 1.0 ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) or hi-rel industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range depending on the model and grade. There are 5 models offered as base industrial and A grade industrial versions and housed in a surface mount 14-pin package to provide maximum long-term stability. The VRE410 series is recommended for use as a reference for high precision D/A and A/D converters which require an external precision reference. These references are ideal for calibrating scale factor on high resolution A/D converters offering superior performance over monolithic references.
