VRE306

6V, 8-Pin Precision Reference Supply

The VRE306 series of low cost, zener-based precision voltage references provides ultra stable +6 V output with ±0.6 mV (.01%) initial accuracy. This improvement in accuracy is made possible by a unique, proprietary multipoint laser compensation technique. Significant improvements have been made in other performance parameters, including warm-up drift, line regulation, and long-term stability, and make this series ideal for upgrading systems that use lower performance references.

Temperature coefficients are as low as 0.6 ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) temperature range. There are 2 models offered as base industrial versions housed in a surface mount 8-pin package. This series is recommended for use as references for 14, 16, or 18 bit D/A converters which require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for calibrating scale factor on high resolution A/D converters.
