VRE3025

2.5V, 8-Pin Precision Reference Supply

The VRE3025 series of low cost, zener-based precision voltage references provides ultra stable +2.5 V output with ±0.25 mV (.01%) initial accuracy. This improvement in accuracy is made possible by a unique, proprietary multipoint laser compensation technique. The device also features a buried zener for low noise and excellent long term stability.

Temperature coefficients are as low as 0.6 ppm/°C over the full industrial (0°C to +70°C) or hi-rel industrial (-40°C to +85°C) temperature range depending on the model and grade. There are 10 models offered as base industrial and A grade industrial versions housed in either a surface mount 8-pin package or a thru-hole 8-pin DIP package to provide maximum long-term stability. This series is recommended for use as references for 14, 16, or 18 bit D/A converters which require an external precision reference. The device is also ideal for calibrating scale factor on high resolution A/D converters.
