The MP103FC is a dual channel power amplifier that sets new standards for combining high current, high speed, and high voltage to drive resistive, capacitive or inductive loads, such as piezo electronics. The device features up to 15 A of output current per channel, operating voltages ranging from 30 V up to 200 V, and a slew rate of 180 V per microsecond.

The MP103 utilizes the industrial temperature range “open frame” packaging form factor developed for a number of Apex Precision Power products to offer a lower per unit cost, in comparison with a hermetically sealed hybrid, while still providing very high levels of performance. Proprietary IC’s combined with discrete semiconductor and passive elements on a thermally conductive insulated metal substrate deliver very high power from a compact module. The amplifier gain is fixed at 65 V/V when the feedback pin is connected to the VOUT pin. Internal compensation provides optimum slew rate and insures stability. The only external components required are the current limit resistors RLIM, a series isolation resis­tor RS and the power supply bypass capacitors.
