The PA107DP is a state of the art 180 MHz high power operational amplifier that sets new standards for combining high speed, high voltage and high current to drive resistive, capacitive or inductive loads, such as piezo electronics. The PA107DP is capable of slew rates up to 3000 V/µs, which raises the bar for single-package hybrids.

The PA107DP extends the available slew rate performance within the Apex Precision Power product family by 3X that of the PA85, which features a 1000 V slew rate. The PA107DP also improves output current performance with 1.5 A/5 A PEAK. For optimum linearity the output stage is biased for class A/B operation. Feed forward technology is used to obtain wide bandwidth and excellent DC performance, but constricts use to inverting mode only. External compensation allows the user to obtain both high gain and wide bandwidth. Use of a heatsink is required to realize the SOA.

The device is housed in a 12-pin Power SIP package that requires less than two square inches of board space.
