The PA97DR is a very high 900 V power operational amplifier that exhibits a very low 600 µA of quiescent current, and is designed as a low-cost solution for driving continuous output currents up to 10 mA and pulse currents up to 15 mA in high-voltage applications including instrumentation, piezoelectric transducers, and electrostatic transducers and deflection. This MOSFET power amplifier’s output stage is biased class C for low quiescent current operation and external compensation provides flexibility in choosing bandwidth and slew rate for the application. Housed in a space-saving, electrically isolated 7-pin PowerSIP package, the PA97DR lends itself to high-density circuit board layouts.
