The PA84 is a 300 V power operational amplifier designed for output voltage swings up to ±145 V with dual supplies, or 290 V single supply. Two additional versions are available. The PA84S is a fast settling version that can absorb differential input over voltages up to 100 V. The base model PA84 and A grade version PA84A can handle differential input over voltages of up to 600 V. Target applications include high voltage instrumentation, electrostatic transducers and deflection, and programmable power supplies.
The PA84 is a hybrid product design housed in an electrically isolated, hermetically sealed, 8-pin TO-3 metal package. For continuous operation under load, a heatsink of proper rating is recommended.
