The PA51 is a 10 A, 80 V power operational amplifier featuring a simple Class C complementary common emitter output stage that is optimized for low frequency applications where crossover distortion is not critical. Target applications include valve and actuator controls, DC servo amplifiers and motor/synchro drivers.
The PA51A is the A grade version providing enhance performance in the areas of offset voltage, offset current and bias current. The PA51M/883 is the fully-certified military grade version. The PA51 series is a hybrid product design housed in an electrically isolated, hermetically sealed 8-pin TO-3 metal package. For continuous operation under load, a heatsink of proper rating is recommended.
