The PA02 is a 5 A, 38 V power operational amplifier with a very high 350 kHz power bandwidth designed to drive resistive, inductive and capacitive loads such as motor, valve and actuator controls. The PA02 provides a complementary “collector output” stage that can swing close to the supply rails and is protected against inductive kickback. Low crossover distortion and internal losses as low as 1.2 V at 2 A make this device very efficient when system voltages are low and power is at a premium.
The PA02A is the A grade version providing enhance performance in the areas of offset voltage, offset current and bias current. The PA02M/883 is the fully-certified military grade version. The PA02 series is a hybrid product design housed in an electrically isolated, hermetically sealed, 8-pin TO-3 metal package. For continuous operation under load, a heatsink of proper rating is recommended.
