The PA01 and PA73 are low cost, 5 A, 60 V power operational amplifiers designed to drive resistive, inductive and capacitive loads such as power transducers, magnetic deflection circuits and programmable power supplies. For optimum linearity, the PA01 has a class A/B output stage. The PA73 has a simple Class C complementary common emitter output stage that is optimized for low frequency applications where crossover distortion is not critical. Target applications include valve and actuator controls, DC or AC power regulators and motor/synchro drivers. These power amplifiers are internally compensated for all gain settings.
The PA01 and PA73 are a hybrid product design and are housed in an electrically isolated, hermetically sealed, 8-pin TO-3 metal package. For continuous operation under load, a heatsink of proper rating is recommended.
The PA73M/883 is the fully-certified military grade version.
