CS4353

3.3 V Stereo Audio DAC

The CS4353 is stereo audio digital/analog converter (DAC) with an on-chip 2VRMS line driver working from a single 3.3 V power supply. This DAC is a step up version of the CS4352 that requires a 9 to 12V power supply. Based on a charge-pump architecture, the CS4353 outputs a 2VRMS voltage without the need for a high voltage regulator.

The CS4353 also features a ground-centered output architecture, removing the need for external DC blocking capacitors and any pop prevention circuit. Therefore, this new generation DAC allows users to greatly reduce the amount of external components while making the design simpler.

The CS4352 is ideal for any application that requires a line-level output. For example, mainstream consumer products such as DTV, Blu-ray® players, set-top boxes, video game consoles, DVD players and recorders, and DVD receivers. Additional applications include digital mixing consoles, multitrack recording systems, outboard converters, effects processors and automotive audio systems.

The CS4353 is available in a 24-pin QFN package in both commercial and automotive grade.
