DVD Express, which is expected to be available in North America and European retail outlets such as Fry’s Electronics, Circuit City, CompUSA, Dixon's, Tiger Direct, Dell.com and FutureShop, carries an anticipated retail cost of $99.

With ADS Tech's DVD Express product, users can easily import videos from any analog source such as VHS tapes or camcorders and then transfer them to a PC. The captured video can be edited on the PC, then authored and burned to a CD or DVD recordable disc for playback on most PCs and DVD players. DVD Express features Cirrus’ CS92199 MPEG audio/video encoder as well as the CS5340 analog-to-digital audio converter.
