AUSTIN, Texas – December 16, 2002 – Cirrus Logic, Inc. (Nasdaq: CRUS), today announced that the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) has recognized its CS7410 Music Processor and USB-DVR 2.0 Reference Design Chipset as honorees in the Innovations 2003 Design and Engineering Program. In addition, the association has included Cirrus’ EP7312-90 Processor on the prestigious list of Best of Innovations winners, which consists of the most highly honored products in all facets of the consumer technology industry.
Presented in conjunction with the International Consumer Electronics Show, the Innovations 2003 competition recognizes excellence in the design of leading-edge consumer electronics technologies. The Innovations program is endorsed by the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) and is the most widely renowned technology awards program in consumer electronics.
All three Cirrus products were submitted in the Software/Embedded Technologies product category and judged by a panel of prominent industry designers, engineers and journalists.

Cirrus will also participate in the CEA-sponsored Innovations Press/Analyst Preview Reception and Open House on Wednesday, January 8, 2003, from 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. at the Las Vegas Hilton.
