By exploiting the flexibility and processing power of the Maverick EP7211, customers can experience the portable strength of IBM's compact relational database, such as, giving field sales personnel the capability to enter orders and check inventory in real time.

IBM is demonstrating DB2 Everyplace running under embedded Linux on a Maverick EP7211 board in booth #121 during LinuxWorld in New York City, Jan. 29th - Feb. 2nd. The
ongoing demonstration will also include Linux running on the server side.
Both Maverick microprocessors and DB2 Everyplace offer the flexibility of multiple platforms. Maverick engineers have their choice of operating systems including Linux, WinCE, eCOS, EPOC, Palm OS, and VxWorks.
