Renowned as an industry leader in audio ICs, Cirrus Logic has boosted its already large and diversified analog and mixed-signal product portfolio with eight new products for consumer and automotive audio systems.
A highlight of these product introductions is a new family of multi-channel Class-D digital amplifiers, the CS44600 and CS44800, which promise to usher in a new era of consumer products that feature the Class-D technology. These new products combine improved manufacturability for OEMs with better overall audio performance — exceeding previous generations of digital amplifier technology in both of these aspects.
High levels of integration and cost reduction are the focus for two new families of CODECs. The CS42436, CS42438 and CS42448 family of multi-channel surround-sound CODECs is ideal for audio/video receiver and automotive audio systems. Our new stereo CODECs, which include the CS4245 — along with the pin-compatible CS5345 analog-to-digital converter — and the CS4265, target consumer electronics products such as DVD recorders, digital video recorders, DVD receivers and digital televisions.
